10 Miler
Course: 10 Miles -One long, gentle down hill. Shaded most of the way!- One way course on the scenic and just completed York County Heritage Rail Trail. Race starts in Seven Valleys Borough and winds through the countryside along the banks of the Codorus Creek and passes through the oldest operational train tunnel in the nation. The race finishes at the River Walk Arts Festival in downtown York behind the York Industrial Museum.
One Mile Fun Run: Starts and Finishes behind the Industrial Museum. Fun Run starts at 9:30 AM.
Transportation: Parking is available at Seven Valleys, but you'll have to arrange to get back to your car after the race. Transportation will be provided from the Finish Area to the Start BEFORE the race only. Bus will depart from entrance of Industrial Museum at 8 AM sharp! You must pre-register and reserve a spot on the bus!

8 AM - 8:50 AM at Seven Valleys Fire Hall (Rt. 616)

$10 prior to Friday, August 20th, 1999
$15 on race day and after August 20th, 1999

Directions to Finish Area:
North of York: I-83 South, take Exit 10 (George St). Follow George St. south 2 miles to Princess Street. Take a right on Princess Street, go 2 blocks, Industrial Museum is on right, parking on left.
South of York: I-83 North, take Exit 5, (George St.). Follow George St north about 3 miles to Princess Street. Take a left on Princess Street, go 2 blocks, Industrial Museum is on right, parking on left.
Directions to Start Area:
From I-83. Take Exit 3 (Loganville). Go west on North Street (Rt 216). At stop sign, turn north (right) on Main Street. Then go north for 1.2 miles. Turn west (left) on Valley Road and go 4.0 miles into Seven Valleys. At T-intersection turn north (right) onto Main St. Fire Hall parking lot is on your right.

risk of damage or injury to me as a participant in this event. In consideration
of being accepted as an entrant in this event, I hereby, for myself, my
heirs, executors and administrators, release and discharge the USATF, the
York Road Runners Club, Drovers Bank, The Graham Companies, and any and
all other individuals, entities, municipalities, the York 250 Committee,
and all other organizations associated with the race from all claims, damages,
rights of action, present or future, whether the same be known, anticipated,
or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of, or in incident
to, my participation in this event. I hereby certify that I will not
participate in this event unless I am physical fit and sufficiently trained
for competition in the race. I also grant permission for the use
of my name and/or picture in any broadcast, photograph or other account
of this race. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers or
strollers, roller skates or blades, animals, and radio headsets are
dangerous and should not be used during the race.
