The Sun Upgrade Pathfinder[sm] is a tool that will assist you
in determining the best upgrade path from your existing Sun
or non-Sun equipment to the latest Sun technology in workstations,
servers, and storage products Depending on the model and upgrade
path that is selected, you can save thousands of dollars off
the list price of a new system.
The savings you receive will depend on the system age and
model that is being
used as a trade as well as the system to which you are upgrading.
Once these two things are known, the pathfinder will determine
your percentage allowance that you will receive towards the
