Unix System Administrator Training - 16 Hours
- 16 Hours
- Prior experience with Unix a definite.
- Formating, partitioning and analyzing disk drives
- Creating UFS file systems
- Installing Solaris OS
- Administering file systems (Both local and network)
- Creating user/group accounts and administration
- Regular system administration (Halt, boot, ps, monitoring
performance)
- Administering peripheral devices
(Adding/removing hard drives, printers/plotters, terminals,
modems, etc)
- Backup/Restore administration
- Network administration
- Administering cron
- The Kernel
