Patti is the founder, President and CEO of Star Systems Engineering,
Inc. which started back in 1989. Patti grew up in the farmlands
of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and went to Garden Spot
High School. In 1987, Patti graduated with two BS degrees
in Computer Science and Business Management from York
College of Pennsylvania. She also completed her MBA
(Master of Business Administration) with a concentration in
Business Management from the same school.
Patti is a real entrepreneur with a passion for business and
computer integration. Since day one, she has focused Star
Systems on making the automated business world as easy as
possible and helping local businesses create an efficient
computing environment internally, on the Internet, and World
Wide.
Work hard, play hard! In her spare time, Patti can be found
dominating the local road racing scene. Patti races for the
Flying Feet/Nike Racing Team. After the race, Patti can be
found hanging out at the beach in Ocean
Grove, NJ . Other activities and interests include: taking
photographs, pursuing international understanding as advocated
by Rotary
Club International, serving as President of the York
College Alumni Association Board of Directors, serving
the community on the board of the Private Industry Council
(welfare to traininig to work program), serving on the Board of Directors, the
program and marketing committees for the Strand-Capitol
Theatre, serving the Cultural Alliance capital campaign,
hosting International Exchange team members, and other civic
blah blah blah... Patti's latest adventure includes hosting
junior Borna
Albus for the 1999-2003 collegiate school years. This 6'5"
Croatian adds a lot of excitement around the house!
On the side, Patti edits her own electronic magazine called
STARzine
which chronicles the Central Pennsylvania music scene both
literally and photographically. Patti recently got to bid
President
Bill Clinton farewell and photograph rock n roll super
stars Fleetwood
Mac at the White House party. Other recent adventures
include traveling with a Rotary
Medical Mission to the Dominican Republic as photojournalist,
photographing the men's& women's olympic marathon trials, the Boston
Marathon, and photographing the World Cross Country Championships
in Fukuoka, Japan. Patti was named one of Pennsylvania's
50 Best Women in Business . An award presented
by then Governor Tom Ridge.
