Staff Profile: Jeff Hines

Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, and raised along the Jersey Shore, Jeff is an excellent surfer and a
professional engineer. Jeff completed a BS in Civil Engineering at Bucknell University in 1984, and an
MBA at York College in 1997. Jeff also serves as a Major in the US Army reserves and received the
Humanitarian Service Medal for heading up many missions after the Northridge California Earthquake.
When it comes to community service, this eagle scout is involved! Serving on numerous boards and
fundraising projects, Jeff gives significant time and effort back to the community.

For fun Jeff serves as President of the York Road Runners and competes on an elite Nike Racing team
based out of York, PA. This former NJ State Champion in the 1500 meter stays in shape and continues to
compete at a high level. On a recent weekend, Jeff won two 5K races in two days. Ironically, he ran
faster the second day!
