IN MEMORIAM

It is with intense sadness that we announce the death of our partner and friend, Mr. David W. Cerasa. As you may well be aware by now, Mr. Cerasa passed away on March 1, 2002. As a firm, and as Mr. Cerasa's professional family, we continue, as Mr. Cerasa would have desired, to provide the highest quality of client care in spite of our feelings of grief and loss.
Before we close Mr. Cerasa's chapter in our firm's history, we would like you to know his passion for his clients' welfare and his dedication to his community activities were hallmarks of his professional life. His associates here at Stambaugh Ness, in addition to his family and friends, will miss his enthusiasm, his ideas, and his willingness to share his expertise.
We have been privileged to be involved so extensively in Mr. Cerasa's life. The contributions he made to Stambaugh Ness, to the people who work here, and to his clients, will continue to benefit us all.
Mr. Cerasa's high profile in the community is indicative of his willingness to continue to learn from others who provided him with a constant stream of fresh ideas, new professional and social contacts, and challenging situations to relish. They, in turn, benefited from both his counsel and support. His vibrant participation in business endeavors and his very active role with the many facets of firm management though the years set a stellar example for those around him.
Mr. Cerasa had been a principal in the firm from 1979 through the present and served as president until January 1, 2000. He was also the president of two predecessor organizations, Flickinger & Co. Inc and Stambaugh Dorgan & Co. Inc.
We would like you to appreciate Mr. Cerasa's involvement in the community through this listing of his endeavors including:
· Christ Lutheran Church, York.
· American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and INPACT Americas.
· Visiting Nurses Association of Hanover and Spring Grove, Heidelberg Township, United Way of York County, York Health System Annual Giving Campaign, local advisory board of Mellon Bank.
· York Health Foundation, YWCA of York finance committee, Out Door Country Club.
· Rotary Club, York, and the York Chapter of the Sons of Italy.
· Mr. Cerasa was a 1970 graduate of Spring Grove Area High School and a 1974 graduate of Bucknell University.
